These two conferences will run in parallel at the same venue. The registrants of one will have free access to the sessions of the other.
ICONS 2009 - The 2nd IFAC International Conference on Intelligent Control Systems and Signal Processing
ICONS 2009 will be a forum to bring together experts and practitioners from the major computational intelligence areas (neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, fuzzy systems, probabilistic reasoning), and from control systems, signal processing, optimization and statistics, to exchange knowledge and experience and to discuss the state of art and the future direction in both theory and applications.
It is desired to foster cross-fertilization between conventional computing and computational intelligence and to explore opportunities provided by individual computational intelligence methodologies and their hybrids.
While control systems methods and applications will be the dominant theme, the conference is not limited to these subjects. Rather, it aims to be a multidisciplinary forum o promote discussion and transfer of knowledge between people from different backgrounds, including industry, albeit related to the main theme.
ISOT 2009 - International Symposium on Optomechatronic Technologies
The objective of this symposium is to gather researchers and engineers working in the field of Optomechatronics and to provide them with a forum for discussion for exchanging their points of view and experience and sharing their research results through high quality peer reviewed papers. The ISOT meeting is the world’s largest and most comprehensive technical symposium focused on Optomechatronics.
